The Travel Bug and Lockdown Level 1

With the recent announcement by President Ramaphosa that the country has moved to Lockdown Level 1, the travel bug is starting to bite as we get excited for eased restrictions on traveling. Perhaps you have relatives or friends from overseas visiting South Africa soon, or you know of someone who needs a business visa or study visa, for example. These International Travelers will have to obtain the required documentation before coming to South Africa.

Traveling during the Covid-19 pandemic remains a challenge and although traveling to and from South Africa is now allowed as stated in the regulations published by the Government, it can be a stressful experience.

For international travelers who wish to enter South Africa, the requisite visa must be obtained by means of applying to Home Affairs. Visas for medical treatments, attending conferences, transit visas, business visas, relative visas and general work visas for example, are issued by Home Affairs once the relevant documents and forms are submitted and the required amounts are paid.

Tuckers Incorporated is there to assist you in obtaining these visas. Should you require any assistance with regard to any immigration or emigration related matters feel free to contact Tuckers Incorporated at (011) 897 1900, 076 777 1920 or email us at info@tuckers.co.za.
